1. Chorinsky-Klause

The Chorinsky-Klause in the Weißenbachtal valley near Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt is a dam built at the beginning of the 19th century with which the water of the Weißenbach can be used for timber drifting. Up to 75,000 m³ of water can be drained within a few minutes. The Chorinsky hermitage is a prototype for the tradition of forestry in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut. At the beginning of the 21st century, the complex is still fully functional and is a listed technical monument.

The Protestant parish church of Bad Goisern is located in the centre of the market town of Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt in the district of Gmunden. The current sacred building dates from 1813 to 1816 and replaced the Tolerance Church from 1782. The church is a parish church of the Evangelical Church A.B. in Austria and belongs to the Evangelical Superintendence of Upper Austria. The Protestant church of Bad Goisern, together with the Protestant vicarage, is a listed building.

4. Ewige Wand

The Ewige Wand is a 1183 m high mountain in the Totes Gebirge near Bad Goisern. The summit connects to the Predigstuhl to the west and is separated from it only by a weakly defined notch, over which the cycle path leads. The actual Ewige Wand is a very long and south-facing wall line, which is one of the steepest rock formations in the Totes Gebirge. A beautiful panoramic path has been blasted through the western part, which leads through two tunnels. Many sport climbing routes lead through this wall and also a short via ferrata.

5. Predigstuhl

The Predigstuhl is a 1278 m high mountain in the Totes Gebirge near Bad Goisern. The mountain has a gentle and wooded northwest side and a rocky south and east flank, through which several sport climbing routes and two via ferratas lead. Due to its beautiful views and easy accessibility, the summit is often visited at any time of the year.
