The El Pinar Zoo Also Zoological Park of El Pinar Is the first zoological garden of Caracas, Venezuela inaugurated 13 August 1945 under the presidency of Isaías Medina Angarita. El pinar zoo is located in El Paraiso Parish in the former grounds of the La Vaquera hacienda, which was owned by Juan Vicente Gómez. The State took possession of it in 1935. It occupies an area of 7 hectares.

Plaza Italia is a public space located in the San Martín sector, Esquina de Palo Grande of the San Juan Parish of the Libertador Municipality of the Capital District, in the western part of the city of Caracas and in the north center of the South American country of Venezuela. It is located on Avenida San Martín, right in front of the church of Our Lady of Lourdes, inaugurated in 1935.

The Parish Church "San Juan Bautista" is a Roman Catholic church located on Avenida San Martín, in front of Plaza Capuchinos and to the right of the 19 de Abril School, in the San Juan Parish in the city of Caracas, Venezuela. It is a temple of Catholic worship that has three naves: the central nave, where the High Altar is located, and the side naves, one where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved, and in the other where an image of Christ Crucified can be seen. It also has a parochial school and a parish office.

Plaza O'Leary is a public space in Caracas, Venezuela. It is located in the central area of that city, in the El Silencio Reurbanization of the Cathedral Parish of the Libertador Municipality; specifically between Bolívar, Sucre and San Martín avenues, a point known as the "Y". It is named after the Irishman Daniel O'Leary, who fought in the Venezuelan independence army alongside Simón Bolívar, Antonio José de Sucre and José Antonio Páez.

Iglesia de San Francisco is a church in Caracas, Venezuela. Dedicated to Francis of Assisi, it was built in 1593 under the design of Antonio Ruiz Ullán as an annex of the Convent of San Francisco. The church is notable as being the situ where Simón Bolívar received the title "El Libertador" (1813). His funeral occurred here in 1842. During the 1900 San Narciso earthquake, the church was severely damaged.
