Monument to St. Nicholas - a monument in honor of the Holy Deputy City of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker; Located in a chestnut square on Sobornaya Street in Nikolaev. In the same place for a long time they held Christmas events and installed the main Christmas tree of the city. Established on September 17, 2005 to the 215th anniversary of the city, and the opening took place on December 19, 2005 on St. Nicholas Day.

Ukraina is a Ukrainian Slava-class cruiser originally ordered by the Soviet Union in the early 1980s under the name Admiral Flota Lobov. After the Soviet Union disbanded in the early 1990s, the ship passed on to Russia and then to Ukraine, assuming the name Ukraina. In 2010 the Ukrainian parliament stripped the ship of her name. The ship remains unfinished and is currently moored at the Mykolayiv Shipyard.
