The Freilichtbühne Mülheim an der Ruhr is an open-air amphitheatre in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, built in 1936 as a Nazi Thingplatz. It is the most important open-air theatre in the Rhine-Ruhr region and with 2,000 seats, one of the largest in Germany.

The Bismarck Tower in Mülheim an der Ruhr is a 27.5 m high observation tower on the Kahlenberg with a view over the Ruhr River. It is dedicated to the memory of Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, who was revered for the founding of the Reich in 1871.

The Witthausbusch is the largest folk park in the city of Mülheim an der Ruhr. The facility is now a popular local recreation area with large play and lawn meadows. It is located about two kilometers southeast of the city center in the Menden-Holthausen district. The city of Mülheim an der Ruhr, office for green space management and cemetery is the sponsor.

The miners' settlement Mausegatt/Kreftenscheer in the Holthausen district of Mülheim an der Ruhr was built as Colonie Wiesche for the workers of the Wiesche colliery. Today, the 106 surviving houses are listed as historical monuments and are part of the Route of Industrial Heritage.
