The Family Compensation Fund of Valle del Cauca (Comfandi), originally the Family Compensation Fund of Valle del Cauca Comfamiliar Andi, is a private non-profit social enterprise, supervised and controlled by the Superintendence of Family Allowance according to Law 21 of 1982. It is a provider of health, education, subsidies, housing, recreation and cultural services. Comfandi began its work in October 1957; with 277 affiliated companies with the aim of promoting social solidarity between employers and workers through the granting of subsidies in cash or in kind and the provision of services to affiliated workers and their families. In a couple of years, he was closing his family bank supermarkets in some cities/towns in Valle del Cauca.

The collection of professional film projectors, camcorders and the exceptional collection of old cameras are on display, creating the option to observe the technological evolution of such equipment over some 180 years.
