Individual Sights in SteyrSight 1: Michaelerkirche
St. Michael's Church is a Roman Catholic parish church in the district of Steyrdorf in the municipality of Steyr in Upper Austria. It belongs to the Deanery of Steyr in the Diocese of Linz and is a listed building. The former Jesuit church with its elevated position at the confluence of the Steyr and the Enns characterizes the cityscape of Steyr.
Sight 2: Stollen der Erinnerung
The Gallery of Remembrance is a permanent exhibition on the subject of forced labor and concentration camps in the city of Steyr in Upper Austria. The exhibition is located in a former air-raid shelter under Lamberg Castle, which was built in 1943 by the forced laborers from the Steyr-Münichholz subcamp.
