Sight 2: Raumflugplanetarium „Juri Gagarin“
The spatial flight planetarium "Juri Gagarin" in Cottbus - named after Juri Alexejewitsch Gagarin (1934–1968), the first person in space - was opened on April 26, 1974 after almost two years of construction on today's Lindenplatz. Its dome with a diameter of 12.5 m offers 91 visitors. The planetarium technology allows the representation of a realistic star sky regardless of the day or season, the geographical position or the weather. However, it is also possible to leave the earth and to get practically to every place of the previously known universe. Planetarium shows, but also lectures, concerts or theater performances, take place regularly. Various programs can also be shown in other languages such as English or Polish.

The church of St. Maria Friedenskönigin is a Roman Catholic church building in the city of Cottbus in Brandenburg. It belongs to the Propstpfarrei to the good shepherd Cottbus in the Deanery Cottbus new cells of the Diocese of Görlitz. The building is on Adolph-Kolping-Straße in the Mitte district and is a registered monument in the monument list of the state of Brandenburg.

The Catholic Sisters' Home "St.-Elisabeth-Haus" is a listed building in the city of Cottbus in the state of Brandenburg, Germany. The building initially served as a sisters' branch of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Elizabeth until 1983, and today the building houses a day care center, among other things.

Sight 7: Wasserturm
The water tower in Vetschauer Straße in Cottbus was built in 1914 on behalf of the Prussian State Railways to supply the steam locomotives and was decommissioned in 1955. The tower is located immediately south of the Cottbus railway station and is a listed building. The elevated tank belongs to the type of "Container Systems Klönne" and was built by the Dortmund steel construction company Aug. Klönne. Water towers like this one are models for the construction of numerous elevated tanks.
