Hsinchu Prefecture Library, located in the East District of Hsinchu City, Taiwan, was built for the visit of Hirohito (i.e. Emperor Showa) to Taiwan in 1923 by the Emperor Taisho of Japan, and was announced as a municipal monument on December 29, 1998. It is now the property of Shin Kong Life and was not open for viewing at one time. Later, with the consent of Shin Kong Life, it was reactivated and reused, and it was opened for viewing on October 1, 2020.

Bamboo cutting city. Also known as Danshui Hall City and Hsinchu County, refers to the city built in Hsinchu City Center today in the Qing Dynasty era, was founded in the first year of Yongzheng (1723), was the Danshui Hall Office (North Taiwan Administrative Center), after the Taipei Prefecture, Danshui Hall City was changed to Hsinchu County. The existing masonry city was completed in the ninth year of Daoguang (1829). Therefore, the word "bamboo cutting city" is sometimes used to refer to Hsinchu city. Yingxin Gate is the only remaining gate of Zhujian City today, which is the historic site of the Republic of China.

Hsinchu Bamboo Lotus Temple, commonly known as Hsinchu Guanyin Pavilion, Hsinchu Guanyin Temple, Hsinchu Guanyin Ma Temple, is located near the intersection of Zhulian Street and Nanda Road in East District, Hsinchu City, Taiwan. The Lord worships Avalokiteshvara, and the incense is prosperous. This temple, together with the Capital City God Temple and the Outer Tianhou Temple, is also known as the three major temples of Hsinchu.
