With more than 3000 square meters of exhibition space, the MODEM Center for Modern and Contemporary Art opened in the autumn of 2006 in the historical downtown of Debrecen. The world-class arts center is Hungary's second largest exhibition space, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Sight 2: Reformed Great Church
The Reformed Great Church or Great Reformed Church in Debrecen is located in the city of Debrecen. It stands in the city centre, between Kossuth square and Kálvin square. It is the symbol of the Protestant Church in Hungary, and it is because of this church that Debrecen is sometimes referred to as "the Calvinist Rome". With a ground space of 1500 m² it is the largest Protestant church in Hungary. It also has the largest bell of all Hungarian Protestant churches. The Great Church was built between 1805 and 1824 in the neoclassical style.

The Reformed Church of Debrecen is located in Debrecen, on the southwestern corner of Market Street and Széchenyi Street. The church, originally built in Baroque style, was remodeled in neo-Romanesque style in 1876, which still defines its external appearance today.

The Reformed Church on Árpád Square is the church of the Reformed Church of Debrecen on Árpád Square. It was completed according to the plans of Pál Tóásó by 1912. The builder was Imre Vecsey and his wife, Karolina Bruckner.
