Individual Sights in HerneSight 1: Kreuzkirche
The Kreuzkirche is a church building in the Evangelische Kreuzkirchengemeinde, in Herne, Mitte district. The church is also a venue for the days of Old Music, which take place annually in November.
Sight 2: Kulturzentrum
The Herne cultural center is a cultural and event center built in 1976 in the city of Herne, which combines a number of urban cultural institutions under one roof.
Sight 3: Amtsgericht Herne
Herne is the seat of the district court of Herne, which is responsible for part of the district-free city of Herne. The districts of Wanne and Eickel belong to the judicial district of the district court of Herne-Wanne.

The Hansa-Haus at the intersection of Bebelstraße (12–16) and Neustraße (19–21) in Herne is a listed building. It was built in 1927/1928 according to a design by the architect Karl Veuhoff, who was also the client. The expressionist clinker brick building is one of a series of other residential and commercial buildings that were built at the end of the 1920s on the territory of today's city of Herne, including perhaps the most important of these, the Sparkasse Wanne-Eickel and the publishing house of the adjacent Herner Anzeiger (Bebelstraße 18).
