It was built on behalf of hunter Albert Gotthard Nestor Cedergren (1849-1921) on his land in Stocksund. Cedergren had been the first to buy land from Stockby AB, a limited company that had been founded to exploit land and create a villa community in Stocksund. After the tower was unfinished for many years, the construction was completed and inaugurated on April 21, 1996. The building is K-marked. Today, the building is run by the school group Cedergrenska and is used, among other things, as an event and conference room.
