The Church of Santa María la Mayor, also known as the Church of Santa María de la Encarnación, is a Catholic temple located in the Historic Center of Vélez-Málaga, in the province of Malaga, Spain. It was lifted on the remains of an old aljama mosque at the end of the 15th century. Inside is a Renaissance altarpiece located on the main altar. Currently, the Museum of the Holy Week of Vélez-Málaga is in this church.
