Santa Anna is a parish church in the village of l'Estartit, integrated into adjoining buildings. The parish church of Santa Anna, which already existed previously, was rebuilt and widened in 1920, according to a plaque on the façade, which indicates that it was paid for by the relatives of Pere Coll i Rigau in order to honour his memory. It is a temple with a Latin cross floor plan, with a single nave with a semicircular apse, with a semi-spherical dome over the transept, which is reflected externally in an octagonal lantern, with eight rounded arched openings. The façade has an advanced central body with an access door with a semicircular arch, a window of the same typology and an upper bell tower with a square base and crown with battlements; On both sides of this body there are walls with windows. There is a decorative use of the elements of Romance vocabulary.

Torre Moratxa

Torre Moratxa or Torre Borratxa is a mountain of 220.1 meters above sea level in the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí, in the Baix Empordà region. Close to the centre of L'Estartit, it belongs to the Montgrí massif. It has an abrupt slope on the southern slope with some cliffs of some importance, but a relatively gentle slope on its northern slope, where access on foot is not very complicated, since a path runs along the ridge from east to west that connects it with Rocamaura, to the east, and the Coll d'en Taians to the west. At its summit are the remains of a fortified watchtower of modern times that was part of the defensive system against the landing of pirates of the eighteenth century that was complemented by the Torre dels Moscats and the fortified farmhouses of the plain of the Baix Ter.

Santa Maria del Mar

Santa Maria del Mar or Santa Maria dels Masos, formerly Santa Maria del Càrcer, is a hermitage in the municipality of Torroella de Montgrí. It is attached to a farmhouse currently included inside the facilities of a campsite on a plain on the southern slope of the Moratxa tower and the Tossal Gros. It seems that the toponym "Cárcer" comes from the Celtic root / kar / or / ker / which means mountain or summit. Thus Càrcer indicates the presence of two prominent peaks nearby such as the Moratxa and Rocamaura tower.
