The Radishchev Museum in Saratov opened to the public on June 29, 1885. It is supposed to have been Russia's first major public art museum outside Moscow or St. Petersburg. It was founded by Alexey Bogolyubov and named after his grandfather, the 18th-century revolutionary writer Alexander Radishchev. The naming of the museum after the "first Russian revolutionary", Alexander Radishchev, was a direct challenge to the authorities: Bogolyubov had to endure a legal battle to get permission. It was the first art museum in Russia open to everybody. It was opened to the general public seven years earlier than the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and fifteen years earlier than the Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg.
2. Липки
“Lipka” is one of the oldest parks in Saratov, located in the historical center of the city and is its attraction. Located between the streets of Radishchev, Volga, Cathedral and Cathedral Square. Next to the park, the temple was satisfied with my sorrows, the conservatory, the Philharmonic, the monument to N. G. Chernyshevsky, the Dynamo stadium. From the corner of the garden begins the grandmother's outbuilding to the Volga.

4. Зоя Анатольевна Космодемьянская
Zoya Anatolyevna Kosmodemyanskaya was a Soviet partisan. She was executed after acts of sabotage against the invading armies of Nazi Germany; after stories emerged of her defiance towards her captors, she was posthumously declared a Hero of the Soviet Union. She became one of the most revered heroines of the Soviet Union.

6. Саратовский театр русской комедии
The Saratov Theater of Russian Comedy is one of the young Saratov theaters. From 1998 to 2007, the theater was an independent cultural institution of Saratov. Since 2007, the theater has become a branch of the Saratov Academic Drama Theater named after I. A. Blindov.
