1. Pomnik hrabiego Redena

FRIEDRICH WILHELM VON Reden monument - a monument depicting a Prussian state of von Reden, located in Chorzów, in Poland. The monument, by Theodor Erdmann Kalide, is in the form of a bronze statue on a pedestal. Unveiled on August 29, 1853, the monument commemorates the distinguished for the development of the Upper Silesian industry. Originally he was on the Mount of Reden in Królewska Huta. In 1939 he was destroyed, and after renovation in 1940 he was unveiled again on this mountain. In 1945 he was damaged again. In 2002, the monument was unveiled at the Hutniki Square in Chorzów after August Dyrda reconstructed him.

The image of giraffe on three legs is one of many outdoor sculptures in the Silesian Park, and also a symbol of the park. The giraffe is located at one of the main entrances to the Silesian Park, next to the bus and tram stops "Park Śląski Zoological Garden".
