The hermitage at Schaelsberg is a monumental hermitage in Schin op Geul, in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands. Built in 1688 for the lords of nearby Schaloen Castle, the chapel and attached living space, housed a succession of 16 hermits from its foundation until 1930. The chapel and nearby stations of the cross, added in 1843, are a national monument. Since 1758 a yearly procession, the Sjaasbergergank, is held to the hermitage, and this procession is listed as national intangible cultural heritage. Located in a tourist area of South Limburg, it is a popular tourist attraction.
2. Calvariegroep De Drie Beeldjes
De Drie Beeldjes is a sculpture group near Oud-Valkenburg in the Dutch South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. It is a Calvary group that is located at a crossroads of (hiking) roads on the edge of the Schaelsberger forest. The sculpture group is located on the walking path from Schin op Geul to Valkenburg along the river Geul, where there is a bridge over the stream to Oud-Valkenburg. Two forest paths also come together here, one of which leads to De Kluis, which is located behind the Three Statues on top of the slope of the Schaelsberg.
3. Johannes de Doperkerk
The Johannes de Doperkerk is a church building in Oud-Valkenburg in the Dutch South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The building is one of the oldest churches in the region and has been a national monument since 1967. The Roman Catholic parish church is dedicated to John the Baptist. Since 1959, Saint Rita of Cascia, patroness of impossible and hopeless things, has also been venerated in this church.
4. Kasteel Genhoes
Genhoes Castle is a castle in the Dutch province of Limburg, Oud-Valkenburg in the municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The originally medieval castle is embedded in the beautiful landscape of the Geuldal, just north of the provincial road 595. The castle is a national monument and is part of the nationally protected face Oud Valkenburg. It is also part of the Buitengoed Geul & Maas.
5. Sint-Jansboskapel
The Sint-Jansboskapel is a chapel in Oud-Valkenburg in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. The field chapel is located in the Geuldal at the junction of the Sint Jansbosweg with the Kapelkensveldweg southwest of the village. The Sint Jansbosweg runs to the Sint-Jansbosch, which stands southwest of the chapel on the northeastern slope of the Plateau of Margraten.

The Sint-Mauritiuskerk is a Roman Catholic church on the Kerkplein in Schin op Geul in the Dutch South Limburg municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. It is located on a church hill at an important intersection in the village. Around the church is the cemetery and around it is a retaining wall of marl. Both the building and the retaining wall are national monuments.
7. Schaloensmolen
The Schaloensmolen is a turbine watermill located in the Limburg village of Oud-Valkenburg, municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul, on a mill branch of the Geul that splits from the left bank of the Geul about 800 meters above the mill. The mill originally belonged to the goods of the adjacent castle Schaloen.
8. Kasteelruïne & Fluweelengrot
The Velvet Cave is a system of corridors in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul. It was created by marl mining. The historic corridor system is located on the Daalhemerweg and is open for guided tours.
