Ironing mill B is an oak -oak polder mill built between 1627 and 1630. The mill is a so -called ground sailor. Ironing mills do not pump polders, but grind the water from one bosom to the other. There have been a total of 14 string mills, 6 on the Molenkade in Oudorp, 4 behind Oudorp and 4 near Rustenburg. Ironing mill B is one of the four remaining mills on the Molenkade and grinded the water from various polders to the Schermerboezem. In 1941 the ironing mills lost their function because the Raaksmaatsboezem was common with the Schermerboezem. Ironing mill A was dismantled with the intention of rebuilding it in the Dutch Open Air Museum. However, the dismantled mill was lost during an air raid.

Ironing mill E is an oak -eight polder mill built in 1630. The mill is a so -called ground sailor. Ironing mills do not pump polders, but grind the water from one bosom to the other. There have been a total of 14 string mills, six on the Molenkade in Oudorp, four behind Oudorp and Vier near Rustenburg. Ironing mill E is one of the four remaining mills on the Molenkade and raised the water from various polders to the Schermerboezem. In 1941 the ironing mills lost their function because the Raaksmaatsboezem was common with the Schermerboezem.
3. 't Roode Hert
Korenmolen 't Roode Hert is a scaffolding mill rebuilt in 1925 at Frieseweg 102 in Oudorp. The mill is located about 900 meters from the center of Alkmaar. It is the third mill in this place. The first mill burned down in 1807 and was replaced by a second mill, originating from Zaandam-Oost. It burned down completely on September 15, 1924 due to careless use of fireworks. The mill was rebuilt using parts of a mill from 1748: the former rice peller de Witte Klok, a mill that previously stood on the south side of the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam.

5. De Eendracht
De Eendracht is a polder mill built in 1771 in the North Holland city of Alkmaar. It is a round stone mill of the type ground sailor with an Old Dutch blade cross. De Eendracht is the last remaining stone polder mill in North Holland. He drained the polder until 1931; then this task was taken over by the electric pumping station next to the mill.

The Beatles Museum is a museum about the former British pop group The Beatles. It was founded in 1981 in Krommenie and has been located in the North Holland city of Alkmaar since 1995. After several relocations within this city, it has been located since 2016 on the Pettemerstraat within walking distance of the Central Station.
