1. Vlietmolen

The Vlietmolen is a seesaw mill just east of Hoogmade. The mill was built in 1913 for the drainage of the Vlietpolder, as a replacement for a burned-down earlier mill. At the bottom of the mill is a house that is inhabited. Until 1929 the mill owned a paddle wheel. In that year, a screw pump was installed. Next to the mill there is now a mortar, with which the water is increased. Because the transmission is under the floor, the mill is quite spacious internally for a seesaw mill. The Rijnlandse Molenstichting restored the mill in 1967. In 2001-2002 a second restoration followed, in which the mill was made grindable again.

The lime plant is a large-scale pulverizer, and it was not until 2007 that it was in the leading village between A4 and industrial site. The plant was built in 1685 to crush lime pulverizers. The plant has been owned by the Dutch Factory Foundation since it was decommissioned in 1972. Due to the deterioration of the mill bio-community, the Lime Mill decided in 2006 to move the Lime Mill to a high-size position, where it will be used as the bottom of the cloth mill, so the two mills can now be ground together because the water shortage of the wet mill is reduced.

The Gomatic Factory/Glory is a small log factory in the north of Gomatic. The plant was built in 1897 to crush high pressure and peak pulverizers, replacing an old plant built. The factory was occupied in the early days. It was not until 1962 that the factory had a shovel. Now, water is pumped upward with a screw, sometimes using an electric motor in a mill. There is a small pumping station next to the factory.

4. Grosmolen

The cave mill is a wedge mill near the high floor. Rolling mills for cloth coils were built in 1640 to flatten front loaders or cave loaders instead of wedge mills with holes. Grosmolen operated until 1956. Although the mill is grindable, the sprayer is too high to be effective because the level of the pulverizer drops.

The cloth mill is a wedge mill near the high floor. When arriving from the west, the factory was the first to be seen on the cloth doorway. Not far from the cloth mill, along the same road, you will find the cave mill.
