The archaeological site of Fiavé, in the homonymous municipality, includes the southern area of the Fiavé Biotope, an ancient lake of glacial origin, now a peat bog, where several human communities settled during the Mesolithic, Neolithic and especially the Bronze Age. Given the importance and quantity of findings, the site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2011 along with 110 other pile-dwelling sites in the Alpine territory.
