St. James' Church in Wieren in the district of Uelzen belongs to the parish of Wieren in the church district of Uelzen of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover. The church received its name in 1976 due to a depiction of James on an old communion chalice. It was built in 1910/11 in the typical neo-Gothic style. The parish of Wieren merged with the parish of Lehmke in 2001 and has about 1200 parishioners.

The megalithic tombs near Kahlstorf were four tombs of the Neolithic Trichterbecher Culture (TBK) near the village of Kahlstorf in the district of Uelzen (Lower Saxony), which belonged to the municipality of Wrestedt. Only two of them still exist today. These bear the Sprockhoff numbers 801 and 802. The other two facilities were destroyed in the late 19th century. They shall be numbered 803 and 804.
