St Gallus Church, commonly known as Gallus Church, is a Protestant Lutheran church in Papbenheim, in the Weisenberg-Gonsenhausen district of Germany. The present cemetery church was built in the 9th century AD. It is the oldest Carolingian church in Franconia, one of the oldest churches in southern Germany and the oldest building in Pappenheim. The building is listed in the Bavarian Monument List, numbered D-5-77-158-31. The underground part of the church is also registered as a ground monument. The church belongs to the Parish of Pappenheim in the office of the Dean of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pappenheim.

Pappenheim Castle (German: Burg Pappenheim) is a ruined spur castle on a long mountain spur in an Altmühl loop above the town of Pappenheim in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Middle Franconia, Germany. The ancestral seat of the powerful Reichsministerialen and later Counts of Pappenheim is considered one of the most important medieval castle ruins in Bavaria. An older castle stable is located a few hundred meters west-southwest of the ruin on a wooded hill.
