Naumburg Cathedral, located in Naumburg, Germany, is the former cathedral of the Bishopric of Naumburg-Zeitz. The church building, most of which dates back to the 13th century, is a renowned landmark of the German late Romanesque and was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2018. The west choir with the famous donor portrait statues of the twelve cathedral founders (Stifterfiguren) and the Lettner, works of the Naumburg Master, is one of the most significant early Gothic monuments.

The funeral lamp in the cemetery in Schulpforte, a district of the Naumburg district of Bad Kösen in the Burgenlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt, was built around 1268. The early Gothic funerary lamp is a protected monument as part of the former Cistercian abbey of Pforta. The death lamp was destroyed in January 2018 by falling trees of hurricane Friederike. In May 2019, the restored death lamp was re-inaugurated as part of the school festival of the Landesschule Pforta.

In the 16th century, it was the collegiate church of the Augustinian Order and replaced a first sacred building on the same site. In the following centuries, the church was rebuilt and extended several times. The church building has been a listed building since the 1970s. The parish belongs to the church district Naumburg-Zeitz in the Evangelical Church in Central Germany.
