Rosenberg Fortress is a fortress situated on a hill overlooking Kronach, a town in the Upper Franconia region of Bavaria, Germany. It is one of the largest, best-preserved, and most complete fortresses in Bavaria. Tracing its origins back to the 13th century, the fortress was never captured by violent means. Originating as a medieval hill castle, it was transformed into a massive baroque fortress complex during the early modern period, being one of the two fortresses of the Prince-Bishopric of Bamberg. With countless construction stages representing centuries of architectural development visible, Rosenberg Fortress serves as an outstanding example of the evolution of defensive architecture in Germany. Including its moats and ravelins, the fortress covers an area of circa 8.5 hectares.
2. Fränkische Galerie
The Franconian Gallery, located in the small town of Kronach, Upper Franconian, is a branch of the Bavarian National Museum in Munich. On July 7th, the museum opened in July 1983. It is part of the museum development plan of the Ministry of Education and Culture approved by the Bavarian government in 1979 and is one of the first branches of the National Museum.

The Rosenturm is part of the former fortifications of the Upper Franconian town of Kronach in Bavaria. The listed four-storey round tower is located on Marienplatz at the southern tip of Kronach's old town, also known as the Upper Town due to its elevated position on a mountain spur.

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. John the Baptist is located on the south side of Melchior-Otto-Platz in the Upper Franconian town of Kronach. The building, which dates back to the 14th century and is now a listed building, is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.
