The Weißgerbermuseum is a museum of the history of technology and is located in Doberlug-Kirchhain in the Elbe-Elster district. It is the only one of its kind in Europe and illustrates whitening with the help of a historical demonstration workshop, presents tanning agents and leather products and devotes itself extensively to all aspects of the general and regional development of the tanning trade. In addition to an extensive collection of exotic leathers and skins from all over the world, a shoemaker's workshop and journeyman's room, a collection of precious Doberluger and Kirchhain pewter ware (guild tableware) as well as changing special exhibitions are shown. In the technical exhibition, the industrial production of leather is presented with the help of a complete production line consisting of functional tannery machines.

2. Klosterkirche St. Marien Dobrilugk

The monastery church Doberlug is a sacred building of the former Cistercian abbey of the monastery Dobrilugk. Since the 17th century, it has belonged to Doberlug Castle in Doberlug-Kirchhain in the Elbe-Elster district in the state of Brandenburg. Along with Chorin Abbey and Lehnin Abbey, the monastery church is considered one of the "most important brick buildings in inland northern Germany" and the "oldest, preserved church of the Cistercian Order in eastern Germany". Today the church is used by the monastery parishes of Doberlug in the church district of Lower Lusatia of the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia.

The technical monument Bockwindmühle Trebbus stands between the districts Trebbus and Arenzhain of the Brandenburg town of Doberlug-Kirchhain.
