1. Hôtel Spa Le Splendid

Hotel Splendid is located in the commune of Dax, in the French department of Landes. The building, for its facades and roofs, as well as inside, the large hall and its décor, the dining rooms and their décor, the large smoking room with its décor, the stairs with their banisters and stained glass windows, and finally, the thermal fountain in the small west hall, is listed as a historical monument by decree of 18 December 1991.

2. Arènes de Dax

The Dax arena, located in Parc Théodore-Denis in Dax, was built in 1913. Bullfights and the Great Landes Competition are organized there on the occasion of the Dax festivities and the Toros y Salsa festival, the second weekend of September. They are part of the seven French arenas of first category, the others being those of Bayonne, Mont-de-Marsan, Vic-Fezensac, Nîmes, Béziers and Arles.
