1. Ribe Cathedral

Ribe Cathedral or Our Lady Maria Cathedral is located in the ancient city of Ribe, on the west coast of southern Jutland, Denmark. It was founded in the Viking Era as the first Christian church in Denmark by Ansgar, a missionary monk from Hamburg, under permission of the pagan King Horik I. The cathedral has experienced several damaging events throughout its long history and has been restored, expanded and decorated repeatedly. As it stands today, Ribe Cathedral is the best preserved Romanesque building in Denmark, but reflects a plethora of different architectural styles and artistic traditions. It ranks among the most popular tourist attractions in Denmark and has been awarded two stars in the Michelin guide.

2. Dagmarsgade Vandtårn

White Horse Street Water Tower is a water tower built in 1887 to supply 425 properties in the river. The architect is j.v. Posselt. In order to maintain the pressure of population growth, the tower was increased to about 1947. 20 meters, by engineer a.g. Bryn. The water plant was closed in 2011 and the tower has been put into sale.

3. Johanne Dan

Johanne Dan is a museum ship built in 1972 as a faithful copy of everten Johanne, which was built in Ribe in 1867 for timber merchant Jørgen Lauritzen. The ship sailed with Skibbroen in Ribe as a starting point between loading and anchorages in the Wadden Sea with general cargo, building materials and fuel.

6. Tangevej Vandtårn

The water tower on Tangevej is a former water tower located on Tangevej in Ribe near Ribe Station. The water tower was built in 1907 for the institution Ribelund and was later renovated and expanded in 1952. It was in operation until 1990.
