Anholt Lighthouse is one of the country's first lighthouses located in the desert at the northeastern end of the island of Anholt in the Kattegat. The first lighthouse was built as a tilting lighthouse as early as 1561, together with Skagen Lighthouse. The current lighthouse was built in 1785, then as an open-cast coal boiler. During the English Wars from 1807 to 1814, Anholt was occupied and the lighthouse was expanded with a defensive facility, which today appears as a round casemate around the foot of the lighthouse.
2. Katholm

Katholm Castle is a manor house located on the Djursland peninsula, six km south of Grenaa, in eastern Denmark. Built in the Renaissance style from 1588 to 1591 and expanded in 1622, it is set on a castle bank in the middle of an artificial lake in a forested area. Wilhelm Dinesen, father of writer Karen Blixen, spent his childhood years at Katholm.
3. Gammel Estrup
Gammel Estrup Manor is a red-brick Renaissance manor house some 20 km (12 mi) east of Randers in Jutland, Denmark. The manor as we know it today can be traced back to 1490. But excavations have revealed evidence of earlier constructions also mentioned in texts under the name Essendrup dating back to 1340.
