The Museum of Šumava in Sušice was founded in 1880 as the first museum in Šumava. At first it was located in the premises of the Susice town hall. Originally a small museum, thanks to numerous donations, it has grown over time and today occupies a dignified position on Susice Square in the house No. 40. Since 1963 it has been connected with the Museum of Šumava in Kašperské Hory and the Museum of Šumava in Železná Ruda. In 2015, the Museum of Dr. Šimon Adler in Dobrá Voda was added to the Susice Museum.
2. Svatobor - rozhledna
The Svatobor lookout tower is a stone tourist tower with a tourist cottage on the top of the Svatobor Mountain, located in the northwest of the Šumava foothills and creates a natural landmark over the town of Sušice. In the iDNES.cz poll in 2011 she was elected the most beautiful lookout tower of the Pilsen Region.
3. Svatobor
Svatobor is one of the highest peaks of the Svatobor Highlands, which is a geomorphological subunit of the Šumava foothills.
