1. Pfarrkirche St. Stefan

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Stephen in the Lower Austrian village of Rieggers is located slightly elevated on the edge of the Anger and is surrounded by a former cemetery. Rieggers was already a vicariate in the 13th century and has been a parish since the end of the 15th century. It belongs to the deanery of Zwettl. The former Romanesque choir tower church was converted into a Gothic hall church in the first half of the 15th century and baroque in the second half of the 18th century. A Romanesque barn nearby was demolished at the end of the 18th century. The listed church (list entry) was thoroughly renovated between 2003 and 2006.

2. Pfarrkirche Hl. Dreifaltigkeit

The Roman Catholic parish church of the Holy Trinity stands on a hill in the Lower Austrian village of Oberstrahlbach. It is a baroque building from the years 1700–1706. In 1798 it received a west tower and in 1827 an extension of the choir. The church is connected with the cemetery and the vicarage to form a single unit. The parish of Oberstrahlbach was founded in 1784. It consists of the villages of Oberstrahlbach, Niederstrahlbach and Unterrabenthan and belongs to the deanery of Zwettl. The church is a listed building.

3. Steinpyramide

The Waldviertel Pyramid is a pyramid in Waldviertel, Austria. It is hidden deep in the forest between Zwettl and Gross-Gerungs. It is the only known structure of its kind in Central Europe. It is of unknown age, and consists of four circular layers of loosely stacked natural stones. The diameter at the base is 14 metres (46 ft) and the height is 7 metres (23 ft). It has only been under official monument protection since 2001.

4. Pfarrkirche Hl. Antonius von Padua

The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Anthony of Padua on the edge of the green of the Lower Austrian village of Jagenbach is a simple, listed country church (list entry) from the first half of the 18th century. It was mentioned in a document as a chapel in 1746 and was extended around 1880 by an extension with a tower on the west side. The parish of Jagenbach has existed since 1901 and belongs to the deanery of Zwettl.

The Roman Catholic parish church of Marbach am Walde is located slightly elevated on the edge of the Angers of the village of Marbach am Walde in the municipality of Zwettl-Lower Austria. The parish church consecrated to Saint James the Elder belongs to the Dean of Zwettl, the diocese of St. Pölten. The church, the cemetery and the Romanesque cemetery chapel are listed as monument protection.
